My journey of becoming a holistic therapist began with me attending, by chance, a short talk about Touch for Health Kinesiology in 2012.  That was enough, I had got the bug!  I enrolled on my first training course of Touch for Health still not really knowing what I was going to learn but knowing it was definitely for me and have never looked back!  Since then I have qualified as a Touch for Health practitioner and continued to learn more specialised kinesiology techniques. I love all things that are energy based and have also trained in Usui Reiki to Second Degree and RESET-TMJ.

KINESIOLOGY

Kinesiology is a fantastic way of 'talking’ to the body using gentle muscle response tests to find, on an energetic level, areas of stress and how to best restore balance.

There are many techniques available for restoring energetic balance, the muscle tests (Kinesiology) can find the most appropriate and effective ones for you at that time.

Kinesiology can help with a vast range of things, physical, emotional, energetic, food sensitivities, toxicity and much more.

REIKI

The word Reiki comes from 'Rei’ meaning life, spirit or universal and 'Ki’ meaning energy.

Reiki is a deeply relaxing therapy which channels energy to all areas of the body.  During a session, the practitioner places their hands either gently and lightly on the body or just away from the body, through clothing in a calm relaxing atmosphere, allowing the energy to flow through the hands.  It brings harmony to all levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual, promoting the body's natural healing process.
Reiki is great for relaxation and stress reduction, increasing energy and for relieving aches and pains.

RESET-TMJ (Rafferty Energy System for Easing the Temporomandibular Joint)

RESET-TMJ is a simple system of relaxing the muscles, nerves and ligaments of the jaw, enabling the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) to reset to its correct position.

The Practitioner places their hands in various positions on the head, neck, shoulders and back to gently relax the muscles. The TMJ stores the memory of trauma and stress, both physical and emotional and can also be pushed out of place by direct injury or even dental work.  This then has a knock on effect on other areas of the body. By balancing or resetting, the TMJ, you also bring balance to many other areas of the body.

RESET-TMJ is helpful for teeth grinding/clenching, headaches, sinus problems, neck and shoulder tension and also emotional stress release.
