On referring into our service, you will be offered an assessment with one of our mental health practitioners to identify your needs, and offer recommendations.
Counselling and talking therapy help explore what is going on in your life that is causing you distress, the role of the therapist is to look beyond your presenting problems to explore possible underlining causes to then equip you with resources or “tools” to understand yourself better and manage your situation better.
All our counsellors work to an ethical framework and will be members of a body that represents their ethical working practice, they are insured and have enhanced DBS. All are supervised in accordance with their professional body. Appointments can be offered at various times and can work with a time that suits.
