A number of things interest me.

Wye Dean Wellbeing

I have a genuine interest in alternative holistic wellbeing therapies and attitudes that question the status quo.

I am interested in helping Wye Dean Wellbeing become an organisation that can provide wellbeing services to our community here in the forest of dean.

My role here is as follows:

  • Project development
  • Strategy development
  • Marketing
  • Website accessibility
  • Community inclusion

Experience, career path and motivation

I have some 42 years work experience in varied areas:

My first born son George who is now 31 is severely sight impaired. He was born with congenital cataracts and operated at 10 days. This led to glaucoma and other problems.

My background quickly, I started work as a commercial and aerial photographer (30 plus years), started to publish books in 1989 and as the internet started to develop I got involved with a some web developers in the UK and US. Telling stories could now be done online, and still today I work with foundation6 to build websites.

As my son went through education I got involved at his college the Royal National College For The Blind, where I ran workshops around self employment and marketing. At this point I worked with some of his blind friends who wanted to have a voice online and we started to develop websites that they could manage.
